Document Description
The proposed project consists of the Nature Education Program, inclusive of the Glendale Outdoors! (GO!) Program, Restoration Program/ Wilderness Workdays, and Stone Barn Nature Center Field Trips is a unique opportunity for youth, families, residents and community members to experience natural and cultural resources offered at the Stone Barn Nature Center located in Deukmejian Wilderness Park in the city of Glendale. Through these programs, participants will participate in interpretive/ nature hikes, informative tours of the barn and its history, and other recreational activities that connect them to natural settings and promote environmental awareness and education.
