Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Professions Code Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a cannabis cultivation license. The project involves a proposed Commercial Cannabis Cultivation facility at 6411 Hawver Road, Mokelumne Hill, California (APN 016-024-012; 73.7 acres; zoning A1). The adjacent parcels and project property are dominated by agricultural land uses. The proposed facility will be five 2000 square-foot greenhouse buildings totaling 10,000 square feet of outdoor canopy. Cultivation operations are supported by cannabis structures for harvest storage, pesticide storage and cannabis waste storage facilities. Water to the cultivation area is provided by a groundwater well (38.2611748 -129.675978). The groundwater well is used solely for the cannabis cultivation operation. Electricity is provided to the facility by an existing solar panel system. Irrigation water is stored in a 12,500-gallon storage tank (38.262550 -120.673796). There is no immature canopy, processing or packaging on site.
