Document Description
DWR SJFD staff plans to replace a leaky pipe along the BVPP domestic waterline. To do this work, staff will use a hydro excavation truck to expose a portion of the pipeline east of where the pipeline crosses the California aqueduct. A 10feet long by 3feet wide by 3feet deep area will be excavated. A dump truck will be used to bring in fill material and a backhoe will be used to move and compact dirt. All work will be completed in one day. To reduce disturbance, all equipment will stay on the road. If equipment cannot reach the project footprint, hand tools will be used to complete the work. All work is within the DWR right of way. This work is necessary to fix a previously repaired pipe that is consistently leaking.
