Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an emergency culvert and slope repair on along southbound State Route 49 and 108 at various postmiles in Tuolumne County. Excessive rainfall runoff had overwhelmed the drainage facilities which causes flooding over the roadway and eroded slope. The project will replace the culverts and repair erosion damaged slope with rock slope protection. The purpose of the project is to address the damaged slope and overwhelmed culverts caused by heavy rainfall. The need of this project is to prevent and mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public services.
