Reasons for Exemption
The proposed minor change in the existing purpose and place of use within the Gund’s service area will not result in an increase in consumptive use and does not have the potential to adversely affect the water supply of other legal users of water or instream beneficial uses. Irrigation will only take place in 3 acres of land within a gross area of 25 acres. The applicant will reduce the number of cattle to reduce the amount of water previously used for stockwatering.
