Document Description
This project will remove dilapidated, hazardous cross-fencing in a wet meadow. It will also involve building new wildlife-friendly fencing to manage livestock grazing and control cattle access to a riparian area. Overall project goals are to improve wildlife meadow habitat through managed grazing and promote new riparian successional growth to benefit local and neo-tropical bird species. Activities include removing approximately 6000 feet of hazardous fence, and installation of new wildlife friendly fencing to facilitate grazing management in the wet meadow and associated riparian areas.
