Notice of exemption for Coastal Conservancy approval of grant funding to engage community members of all ages in the restoration and enhancement of coastal sage scrub, coastal dune, and coastal tidal wetland habitats at three habitat preserves along the shores of south San Diego Bay and the Tijuana Slough (run by the San Diego Audubon Society). Restoration and enhancement work will include community outreach and education, removing non-native vegetation, removing trash, planting native plants, and monitoring activities such as watering and weeding.

The project will not have a direct or indirect negative effect on the environment since it is comprised solely of community outreach and education, removing non-native vegetation, removing trash, planting native plants, and monitoring activities such as watering and weeding.
