Document Description
The Project consists of an Administrative Development Permit for the cultivation of medical cannabis located at 10160 Crescenzi Place in Smartsville, CA. The Project will consist of 5,000 square feet of outdoor canopy consisting of two hundred (200), twenty-five (25) square-foot planters and 120 square feet of support area located within a proposed shed for agricultural chemical storage. The site is accessed off the driveway that serves the residence and residential accessory structures. The site is served by an existing well for water and an existing septic system for sewage disposal. Full-time tasks will be performed by a resident of the parcel, no employees are included in this operation. All processing will take place on an adjacent parcel, permitted for offsite processing.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
