Document Description
The Project will replace approximately 170-feet of the exposed 30-inch high-pressure natural gas transmission pipeline 1018 in Borrego Canyon Wash. Un-grouted pre-cast articulated concrete revetment mats and rip-rap will be installed across Borrego Canyon Wash to prevent future erosion of the pipeline. The articulate concrete revetment mats are designed to be semi-porous and will support natural re-vegetation. The articulate concrete revetment mats and riprap dissipation structures have been designed to maintain the current grade and prevent future degradation of the streambed after the pipeline has been replaced. The Project activities will entail excavation, abatement, fabricating new pipeline, hydrotesting, performing tie-in operations, backfilling and compacting soil.
