Document Description
The project is limited to the installation of a 42-foot long by 26-foot wide U-shaped floating dock. The floating dock will be accessed by a new 70-foot long by 4-foot wide steel gangway anchored by a 20-foot long by 10-foot wide and 5-inch deep reinforced concrete foundation. The concrete foundation will be secured by an approximately 7.5-foot deep reinforced concrete footing on one end and an approximately 5- foot deep footing on the other. The dock and gangway will be manufactured offsite and delivered to the project site. A floating barge with crane will place the dock and gangway into position. Minor impacts to existing non-native vegetation are anticipated for the installation of the concrete pad, however no native trees and shrubs will be removed.
