Adoption of the Climate Mobilization Strategy is exempt from CEQA under the "common sense" exemption, CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) which establishes the general rule for projects in which it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment. Adoption of the Climate Mobilization Strategy does not result in any City commitments to definite programs that may have a significant effect on the environment. Any environmental impacts from the Climate Mobilization Strategy will be considered and evaluated for all applicable environmental laws and regulations to address potential environmental impacts when the initiative is considered.
