Document Description
The Alameda County Public Works Agency is proposing a stormwater drainage improvement project located on the westbound lane of Seaview Avenue at Madison Avenue (private street) in the unincorporated community of Castro Valley, Alameda County. The project consists of: construction of a stormwater drain drop inlet; installation of a 40-foot-long, 12-inch-diameter reinforced concrete pipe (RCP); cold plane an approximately 150-square-foot area of existing asphalt concrete pavement to improve drainage flow to the new stormwater drain drop inlet; and installation of 2 inches of asphalt concrete overlay. The new RCP will connect to the existing box culvert in Castro Valley Creek (District Zone 2, Line J). The purpose of the project is to improve drainage at the intersection of Seaview Avenue and Madison Avenue (private street).
