Document Description
The project is associated with activities documented in a CDFW Notice of Violation dated July 20, 2022. Project activities covered under this Agreement are limited to a diversion of impounded streamflow from a single Point of Diversion (POD) within an existing 3.2 acre on-stream Reservoir and work associated with 6 culverts. Water will be diverted from the Reservoir using a submersible electric pump with a backup generator. Diverted water will be used to irrigate outdoor cannabis crops. Water will be diverted under existing basis of water right issued by the State Water Resource Control Board (SWRCB) Division of Water Rights (Division; Permit ID: 018786, License ID: 012581). The water right specifies Reservoir storage is limited to 3.2 acre-feet per year. Total water diverted from the Reservoir directly and for consumptive use is limited to 3.0 acre-feet (977,553 gallons) per year. Water supply for the northern and southern cultivation areas will be supplied by water pumped from the Project POD and storage tanks between November 15 and March 31. The Reservoir will serve as the only cannabis irrigation water source.
