Document Description
The project consists of the construction of a new two hundred seventy (270) foot long multi-parcel use pier, and enhancement of fish habitat associated with the pier, on Lake Tahoe. The pier causeway will be one hundred ninety-five (195) feet in length by seven (7) feet in width and supported by thirteen (13) ten point seven five (10.75) inch diameter steel tube pilings. The associated pierhead will be seventy-five (75) feet in length by fifteen (15) feet in width and will be supported by fourteen (14) twelve (12) inch diameter steel tube pilings. The pier will support one (1) six-thousand-pound (6,000) boat lifts and three (3) twelve thousand-pound (12,000) boat lifts on the sides of the pierhead. The six-thousand-pound boat lift will be supported by a single ten (10) inch wide “I” beam piling while the twelve-thousand-pound boat lifts will each be supported by two (2), ten (10) inch wide “I” beam pilings. A single fifteen (15) foot long by three (3) foot wide catwalk will be mounted at the lakeward end of the pierhead.
