Document Description
Install an interpretive panel at Vikingsholm Beach, adjacent to the Rubicon Trail, in Emerald Bay State Park to inform visitors about the rich maritime history of Vikingsholm resident Lora Knight. Work will: • Use hand tools to excavate two (2) 10-inch diameter by 22-inch-deep holes; • Insert two (2) 4-inch x 4-inch metal posts and backfill around posts with concrete to secure; • Attach a 24-inch x 36-inch panel (32 inches above ground height) to the metal posts; and • Cover any exposed concrete with native material to blend with surroundings.
