Document Description
The project is limited to the removal of an existing swim dock and installation of a new boatlift and swim dock. The existing 10-foot by 20-foot wooden floating dock will be removed. The existing dock is supported by four (4) 10-inch wooden piles. A total of six (6) wooden piles will be removed, with four (4) originating from the existing
floating dock and two (2) from the existing pier structure. Debris from the demolition of the existing structure will be collected and disposed of offsite. A new boatlift measuring 16-feet by 28-feet will be constructed and accompanied by a roof of identical dimensions. Adjacent to the boatlift, a motorized swim dock, measuring 10-
feet by 20-feet will be installed. A 30-foot gangway ramp will connect the pier to the motorized swim dock. A total of twelve (12) steel piles will be driven to complete the projects. Six (6) 10-inch steel piles will be installed to support the new boatlift, while four (4) 8-inch steel piles will underpin the motorized swim dock. Additionally, two
(2) 8-inch steel piles will be installed at the far end of the existing pier to support the new gangway,
