The project proposes renovating 4,925 square feet of the first floor of the DMV HQ East Building equipped for daycare to general office use. The project consists of removing floor coverings, low rise partitions, fixtures in the children's restroom, kitchen counter-top, decorations, finishes, etc., and providing new paint, floor covering, redesign restroom for adults occupancy, modular space furniture for up to twelve workstations and a conference room. The project includes improved accessibility path of travel and signage. All work and waste disposal will comply with existing applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances governing work. The project would provide DMV needed office space.
