The proposed project includes various repairs, including replacement of damaged asphalt, installation of steel guardrails, replacement of existing retaining walls with either steel soldier pile or soil nail retaining walls, replacement or improvements to existing culverts, and temporary relocation of utility lines, at 63 discontinuous work areas along an approximately 4.8 mile segment of Palo Colorado Road. The project also includes the construction of temporary construction storage areas to serve the proposed work areas. The 63 proposed work areas include 13 storm damage sites, 36 additional drainage improvement sites, and 14 construction storage areas.
