Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement Notification No. EPIMS-SBA-20342-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mark and Sue Davis. The project is required by CDFW as remediation for a streambed alteration violation at the location described above. The project is limited to the removal of an at-grade low-water road crossing over Quiota Creek and the subsequent restoration of the creek and creek banks. The current crossing is a barrier to fish passage; removing the crossing and restoring the creek will restore fish passage. The existing crossing will be broken apart and removed from the stream using an excavator and a dump truck. Riprap will be placed along the bed and banks of the creek and planted with locally native vegetation. Work will take place when no water is present in the creek.
