Document Description
Notice of Completion of a Notice of Preparation for the EHL Reservoir and Intake Channel Project. The proposed project includes a single basin reservoir facility, with a water storage capacity of 2,100 acre-feet, covering approximately 440 acres, that would manage up to 365,000 acre-feet of water annually with the potential of conserving approximately 15,000 acre-feet of water per year. An intake channel would divert water, via gravity flow, from the All-American Canal Reach via underground culverts that transition into an approximate 75-foot wide open channel before reaching the reservoir basin where the irrigation water would be stored temporarily prior to being discharged to meet downstream demands.
