Document Description
To authorize a 12-inch pipe through the levee above the 1957 water surface elevation of 34.4ft, waterside Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) standpipe with positive closure device and siphon breaker, pile mounted steel walkway, slant pump intake, return line and closure valve. The existing facilities are identified in the Supplement to U.S Army Corps of Engineers Standard Operations and Maintenance Manual for the Sacramento River Flood Control Project, Unit No. 116, at Levee Mile 2.84, within Reclamation District 537, and found in As-built drawings 06-13-0573 on Sheet No. 8.

The Board has determined that the project is exempt from CEQA under Class 1 Existing Facilities categorical exemption (CEQA California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Sections 15301) because the activity consists of authorizing existing features and facilities. Additionally, no expansion of existing or former use will occur. Further, none of the exceptions to the exemption in CEQA California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Section 15300.2 apply.
