Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of replacement of existing thickeners and ancillary equipment that have exceeded their useful lives, and some minor new supporting improvements. Work activities will be confined to the central core area of the WWTP, will result in minimal excavation and disturbance, will be within and around an existing structure, and the Contractor will comply with specified environmental controls included in the Contract documents.
