Document Description
The Project is needed to correct storm water conveyance deficiencies that cause recurrent flooding of nearby streets and residences at the intersection of Old Redwood Highway and Dawn Way. The Project will alleviate the existing flooding through the installation of a new reinforced box culvert across Old Redwood Highway, modification of a concrete junction box at the northwest corner of the roadway intersection, and replacement of an existing corrugated metal pipe drainage culvert beneath a private driveway with the Town right-of-way. An existing storm drain pipe beneath Old Redwood highway will also be lined, and a sidewalk will be added along an approximately 100-foot section of Old Redwood Highway.
