Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to increase the traveling public’s safety and overall ride quality by replacing the approach slabs and AC Pavement to provide a smoother transition between roadway pavement and bridges in Sacramento County on State Route (SR) 51 at post miles (PM) 1.28. The project is needed to protect the traveling public from vehicle damage, protect the bridge approaches from continued potholes and to mitigate future field maintenance expenses while preserving the safety of Field Maintenance Crews during future repairs.
