The new seawall will be constructed directly in front of the existing cinderblock seawall and approximately 105 yards of light lava rock will be backfilled behind the wall. Construction will be completed via a 40-foot by 65-foot barge equipped with a hydraulic vibrohammer. The Muller-Vibrator MS-4 vibrohammer will drive individual piles to a specified engineered depth of 12 feet below the lakebed. No demolition of the existing cinderblock seawall will occur. Materials and equipment will be floated to the project location on the barge. No native trees or vegetation will be removed as a result of project activities. In-water Project activities shall not take place outside of the CLH work window (October 15 - December 31) unless otherwise approved by CDFW in writing.
