Document Description
The Alameda County Public Works Agency and the City of San Ramon Public Works propose to improve Crow Canyon Road, from San Simeon Place, Castro Valley to Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon in Alameda County and Contra Costa County, California. The proposed project would consist of roadway reconstruction, and milling and resurfacing. Additional work includes adjusting surface utilities to grade, replacing and constructing new asphalt concrete dikes; replacing existing culverts, outfall and inlet structures at mile posts 5.83, 5.91 and 6.10; repairing and resurfacing roadway shoulders to construct wider shoulder areas; installing (new) and replacing (existing) guardrail north of San Simeon Place and at multiple locations between Norris Canyon Road and Bollinger Canyon Road; installing centerline rumble strip; replacing and installing new detector loops; and signing and striping. The project and its construction activities include traffic control measures and BMPs to protect the environment. The purpose of the project is to improve traffic safety and rehabilitate the pavement on Crow Canyon Road.
