The Discharger purchased additional acreage for use as land application areas for the wastewater. There are no plans to alter the new land application areas, which consists of an almond orchard equipped with sprinkler irrigation. The newly acquired land application areas are permitted under Waste Discharge Requirements Order R5-2023-0023, which was adopted by the Central Valley Water Board on 22 June 2023, and authorizes the use of wastewater for irrigation.
