Document Description
The Project will consist of This project located 8583 Elder Creek Road, Sacramento, CA 95826 (APN: 062-0050-081-0000) is requesting to modify a previously approved Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for commercial cannabis cultivation (file Z20-080). The minor modification involves the existing conditional use permit to reallocate cannabis production uses for a multitenant cannabis facility. As a result, this request will be decreasing the amount of approved cannabis cultivation space by 1,638 square feet, decreasing the amount of manufacturing space by 2,183 square feet, and increasing the amount of distribution space by 1,638 square feet; as a result, there is no change in the District 6 Cultivation and Distribution CAP. The project site is located inside the Heavy Industrial Zone (M-2S) and size is 3.72 acres. Project activities include 21,120 square-feet of cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution. Water is provided by City Sacramento Department of Utilities and power is provided by Sacramento Municipal Utility District.

Class 32 Categorical Exemptions are infill developments within urbanized areas if it meets certain criteria. The class consists of environmentally benign infill projects that are consistent with the General Plan and Zoning requirements. This class is not intended for projects that would result in any significant traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality impacts. This exemption is not limited to any use type and may apply to residential, commercial, industrial, public facility, and/or mixed-use projects. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
