Document Description
The Project will consist of establishing a cannabis distribution and cultivation use within a former retail structure located at 2401 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90804. The site parcel, APN 7260-023-017, features an area of 5,963 square feet. The cannabis operation will be located within one of the commercial units that is approximately 1,957-square-foot in size. The cannabis activities will include cultivation, nursery, and processing. The project proposes minor interior and exterior improvements to the professional office building. Interior improvements include general clean-up and maintenance and the installation of furniture needed to operate both the cultivation and distribution businesses. The subject site is within the Community Pedestrian-Oriented (CCP) Zoning District and has a General Plan Land Use PlaceType designation of Neighborhood-Serving Center or Corridor- Moderate (NSC-M). The project site is currently served by all city public services which include sewer, water, and gas. Power will be provided by Southern California Edison.

This class is not intended for projects that would result in any significant traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality impacts. This exemption is not limited to any use type and may apply to residential, commercial, industrial, public facility, and/or mixed-use projects. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
