Document Description
The Monterey County Resource Conservation District will build the capacity of four local Monterey County organizations to undertake project planning and permitting to increase the wildfire resilience of local communities. Project work includes increasing local organizational capacity to engage in partnerships to expand education and outreach to the public, completing an initial Regional Priority Plan to identify and prioritize specific projects to implement, creating mapping products that have been identified as a need for the Carmel River watershed, and starting planning processes and environmental analyses for future projects.
