Document Description
Commercial mixed-light cannabis operation located on a rural 10-acre parcel in an agricultural zoning district. The project consists of 2,820 sf of mixed-light canopy area within three hoop houses. The project proposes 1867 sf of support area, including one hoop house of 1,800 sf for immature plants and one 67 sf storage shed for chemical and pesticide storage. The operation will not include any noise producing equipment for the cultivation process. The parcel is served by an existing well for water and an existing septic system for sewage disposal. The cultivation area will not contain outdoor lighting. Supplemental lighting will be used for immature plants.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
