Document Description
The City proposes to acquire approximately 5.6 acres of unused land east of Highway 101 currently owned by the Ocean View Cemetery, and construct a new City Operations Complex, with primary access via Oceanview Cemetery Road. The City’s existing corporation yard, which is currently at risk of flooding and liquefaction, would be relocated to the new facility, which would also include administrative offices and serve as the City’s emergency operations center during critical incidents, emergencies, and natural disasters. Water, sewer, gas and electrical utilities established along Highway 101 would be extended to the operations complex. Utility extensions would be located underground. Stormwater runoff from impervious surfaces would be infiltrated and treated onsite. A Lot Line Adjustment will be completed to locate the entire site on one legal parcel and will be noticed separately.
