Document Description
The Project is to address aging equipment/damage to the Generator Room resulting from flooding. The Project is located at Big Creek Dam No. 7 which is part of SCE's Big Creek No. 4 Hydroelectric Project (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Project No. 2017). The Project consists of: (1) drawdown of the tailwater pool near the base of Big Creek Dam No. 7; (2) water diversion around the work area from the Redinger Lake to the San Joaquin River approximately 300 feet downstream of Big Creek Dam No. 7; (3) removing/replacing damaged and end-of-service-life equipment inside the Generator Room; and (4) replacing and relocating the electric panels currently located in the Generator Room to a different room in Big Creek Dam No. 7 above the flood high water mark.
