The Project involves activities related to the restoration of native vegetation along 32 acres of Caliente Creek. CDFW has determined the Project meets the qualifying criteria set forth in Section 21080.56, subdivisions (a) through (d), inclusive. CDFW’s determination is supported by (1) CDFW’s March 17, 2023, initial determination as lead agency the Project meets the qualifying criteria set forth in Section 21080.56, subdivisions (a) through (d), inclusive (see first attachment); and (2) pursuant to Section 21080.56, subdivision (e), the CDFW Director’s May 12, 2023, concurrence with that CDFW determination (see second attachment).
