Document Description
The scope of the project involves resetting the existing culvert and utilizing sediment removed from the slope washout to backfill and restore the slope. Additionally, the work will entail modifying the existing riser pipe by cutting the pipe and introducing a 1.5 cubic yards (CY) concrete layer to secure the pipe inlet. Approximately 50 CY of slope washout sediment will be reused to build the slope back up to previous conditions using a medium size excavator to track up and down the slope. 10 CY of imported borrow will be used to repair the slope and backfill around the washed-out culvert pipe. Imported borrow will not be used in the existing drainage. All work will be conducted within the existing operational easement.
