The purpose of this project is to install new sheet pile walls to counter higher dam outflows. This project is necessary because it helps prevent catastrophic flood damage and the chance dam failure occurs. If not addressed, the risk of downstream flooding from points such as Leroy Anderson Dam will be greatly increased in various urbanized areas of San Jose, California.
