Document Description
Department of Water Resources (DWR) Delta Field Division (DFD) Staff will break down, fill, and repair three areas of erosion along the primary and secondary sides of the Bank’s Pumping Plant Intake Channel. Erosion 1 is located on the western side of the access road at MM 1.09 and is approximately 30-feet long and 30-feet wide. Erosion 2 is located along the dirt road above the intake at MM 1.91 and is approximately 110-feet long and 20-feet wide. Erosion 3 is located east of the intake road, immediately north of the gun range at MM 2.23. Erosion 3 is approximately 55-feet long and 50-feet wide. The erosions will be broken down with a backhoe/excavator that contains a sheep’s foot. Then approximately 30 yards of native soil fill material and approximately 50 yards of ¾” road base will be brought in by a loader and dump truck to backfill and compact the erosion locations. The banks will be reshaped as needed. Native soil is stored at the O&M Yard. All equipment and work are within the DWR right of way.
