Document Description
The Project is limited to dredging mud of the Napa Yacht Club residential marina (Exhibit B). The design dredging depth is -10 feet mean lower low water, plus a 1-foot overdredge allowance, however portions of the dredge area may be dredged to shallower depths based on budget and area use. In total, approximately 13.50 acres and 1,300 linear feet will be dredged to remove approximately 300,000 cubic yards (cy) of accumulated sediment, approximately 100,000 cy of which will be removed in the first dredging episode. Smaller amounts will be dredged in subsequent years. A barge mounted clamshell dredge or excavator will be used to excavate the material, which will be immediately loaded into scows or barges and disposed of at sites approved by the Dredged MaterialManagement Office.
