Document Description
This project is part of a Director’s Order to repair State Route 180 due to washouts from winter storms. Geotechnical Services is planning on drilling 6 borings to gain subsurface information required for repair recommendations. Maximum depth of drilling is 100 feet below ground surface. The drilling system requires drilling fluid made up of water mixed with bentonite, clay-based powder, and/or liquid polymer. This drilling fluid is contained in a closed system and will be disposed of. All work will be performed on the paved route.
