The existing storage tank and hydropneumatic tank may be removed depending on available funding. The work will consist of clearing and grubbing the area where the new equipment will be installed. The required area to be cleared is approximately 2,000 square feet. The new storage tank, hydropneumatic tank, and booster pumps will require approximately 100 ft of trenching to install new ductile iron water main and connect to the existing distribution system. The new trench will be 24-inch-wide x 36-inch- deep. Some existing water mains may be abandoned in place. Appurtenant work will be performed as needed.
