Document Description
The Project consists of the installation of a small treatment plant within a city park adjacent to an existing groundwater production well site for the treatment of PFAS contaminants. Short pipelines would be installed to connect to two existing extraction wells (Well 27 and Well 28) that would convey untreated flows to the treatment plant site. The treatment plant would consist of the use of an ion exchange (IX) treatment protocol through the use of IX vessels along with associated conveyance facilities. The site has been disturbed by the development of the existing city park, the Project would not require any new ground disturbances. The facility would treat water pumped from the production wells and would convey it to existing water distribution pipelines for potable water consumption. The Project requires nominal landscape vegetation removal and would not affect the continued use of the park.
