Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes bridge maintenance at twelve (12) different bridges at various locations in Stanislaus County on State Routes (SR) 99 and 132. Nine locations are on SR-99 between Post Mile (PM) R7.80 and R20.22. Three locations are on SR-132 between PM 15.64 and 46.82. The scope of work proposes to install approach slabs, replace joint seals, treat bridge decks with methacrylate, apply polyester concrete overlay to the bridge deck and approach slabs, heat straighten steel girders, and/or inject epoxy in cracks. All work will occur in Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to provide essential maintenance to deteriorating sections of these bridges. The project is needed to minimize future rehabilitation needs and maintain bridge functionality.
