Document Description
The Project includes the construction of a major public-access electric vehicle charging facility to support charging for shippers and transporters as well as public transportation and passenger vehicles. The facility includes the construction of, and would be powered by, 90 combined charging standard direct current fast chargers, 18-megawatt charging standard chargers, and a 15.6 MWAC solar field on a 118-acre parcel of land. The charging areas and associated support facilities would occupy 13.5 acres of land and would be configured with two truck charging areas with trailer parking stalls, separated by a publicly accessible central plaza. The central plaza will include three buildings - one for operations staff, one trucker refreshment/resting lounge, and one convenience store/restroom and visitor center.
