CCRCD is receiving mitigation funds to expand a current native plant garden adjacent to Pinole Creek behind the Pinole Library - Contra Costa County Library. During the project, approximately 2,300 sq. ft. of invasive plants (English Ivy, Himalayan Blackberry, and Privet) will be removed and replanted with local native plants to improve the ecosystem.
