Document Description
DWR will install a water pipeline to connect the Coastal Branch (CB) of the California Aqueduct to the Berrenda Mesa Canal (BMC). The Devil's Den Pumping Plant had a fire occur and pumping operations have halted which requires immediate action and placement of an auxiliary pipeline to prevent the loss of water conveyance to coastal communities. The pipeline will pump from BMC and cross private land used for cattle grazing for 1.25 miles before entering into the CB at existing access vaults.
