Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an emergency project to repair damaged roadside ditches and structural sections on State Route 88 from postmiles 68 to 69 in Amador County and postmiles 15 to 16 in Alpine County. The project would remove debris, stabilize slopes, replace structural sections, install permanent erosion control and place traffic striping. The purpose of the project is to address the damaged roadside ditches and undermined pavement due to heavy snow melt runoff. The need of this project is to prevent and mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public services.
