The Project includes excavation and repair of an existing pipeline and bank stabilization (including excavation and back filling) of an eroded stream bank at the south bank of Zayante Creek, tributary to the San Lorenzo River in Santa Cruz County (Felton), CA. Zayante Creek, downstream of Graham Hill Road in Felton, CA. was significantly impacted during the winter storms of 2023, causing over 120' of the South bank to erode and a portion of the City of Santa Cruz Felton Diversion Pipeline to be exposed and damaged. The Felton Diversion Pipeline is critical water infrastructure that pumps water from the San Lorenzo River to Loch Lomond Reservoir, the City’s only source of stored water.
