Document Description
The Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District proposes to repair an approximate 150 linear foot section of eroded earthen slide slope along the Line G flood control channel in the vicinity of Carol Ave. in the City of Fremont, Alameda County. Work includes: dewatering the site; excavating accumulated silt; backfilling with earthen material; placing Rock Slope Protection (RSP) at the toe of the slope extending 4 feet up the bank; cleanup of site; and seeding any disturbed areas. All work will be performed within District property. The purpose of the project is to repair the eroded side slopes minimizing further erosion, restore the channel to original design capacity by removing accumulated silt, and maintain flood control protection to the surrounding community.
