Document Description
California State Parks will contract to have routine trimming and thinning of landscaped trees to maintain tree health as well as for public safety purposes. Six trees will be impacted. Three feather palms and one European oak will have the tree crowns thinned; one white oak and one California oak will have larger limbs removed for weight reduction. The larger limbs hang over the State Indian Museum and would cause significant damage if the branches broke and fell onto the historic building.
