Document Description
The project is limited to three (3) encroachments. One encroachment is for stream
restoration activities that include channel recontouring, alcove construction, and installing large wood
enhancement features in First Slough between the Myrtle Avenue and 14th Street crossings. The second
encroachment is for removing and replacing an undersized culvert on the 14th Street crossing on First Slough. The
existing 2-foot diameter culvert will be replaced with a partially embedded 12-foot diameter culvert. The third
proposed encroachment includes remediating two adjacent passage barriers at the N and M Street crossings on
First Slough. The undersized culvert on N Street will be removed to daylight the existing channel. Additionally, the
2-foot diameter culvert on M Street will be replaced with an 8-foot diameter culvert.
